Spring 2024 Newsletter: Week 8

We are almost halfway through the spring semester! I just have some LSAT updates for you this week.

April LSAT Registration Deadline

First, I have spoken with some of you about taking the April 2024 LSAT. I just want to pass on the registration deadline for the April exam, as it’s coming up quickly – this Thursday, February 29 is the deadline. You will NOT be able to register for the April exam after the deadline passes. There is no exam in May, so the next administration will be in June 2024.

2024-2025 Test Dates

Second, the 2024-2025 LSAT test dates will be released this week. As you know, the first exam without Logic Games will be the August administration. If you plan to register for August, September, or beyond, be sure to keep an eye out for the test dates. Registration likely won’t open until later this spring, but you can begin making your plans now.

LSAT Prep

Additionally, LSAC has just made Logic Game-free prep tests for you to download, IF you plan to take the test in or after August 2024. You can get to them (as well as many other great prep materials) on the Law Hub site. I’ve put the link below.

Fee Waivers

Remember, if you plan to apply for an LSAC fee waiver (as every single one of you should!), do so at least 3 months before your intended test date. It often takes that long to process, and if you don’t apply in time, you’ll have to pay for the test (and prep materials, and CAS subscription, etc.) yourself.
