Good morning,
Welcome to the almost-halfway point of the semester! I hope things are going well so far.
LSAT Updates
The 2026-2027 LSAT test dates have been released! This covers all test dates from August 2026 through June 2027. Thus, those of you planning to take the test this summer can now plan accordingly. You can still only register for the June 2026 test at the moment, but registration for August 2026 and beyond should open up in May.
LSAC also announced that beginning with the August 2026 test, they are going back to in-person-only tests. In other words, test-takers will need to go to a testing center to take the LSAT, as the online option will only be available in very limited circumstances (as it was prior to Covid). Fortunately, LSAC partners with various testing centers all over the country (including many in each state) and around the world, so the vast majority of people can access a testing center without too much hassle.
Please use the link below to register for June 2026 (if needed) and/or to see all of the upcoming dates through June 2027. Let us know if you have any questions about the test dates, when you should take it, registration, etc.
Remember, if you plan to apply for an LSAC fee waiver (as every single one of you should!), do so at least 2 months before your intended test date. It often takes that long to process, and if you don’t apply in time, you’ll have to pay for the test (and prep materials, and CAS subscription, etc.) yourself. The link with more information and to apply is below.
