Good morning! This week’s newsletter is all about the LSAT.
LSAT Workshop
If you are planning to attend the LSAT workshop this weekend and you haven’t signed up yet, please do so ASAP at the link below. I’ll be sending out an email later this week with more details about the plan for Saturday to everyone who is signed up.
LSAT Kaplan Prep Course Scholarship
At my recent pre-law conference, in addition to speaking with lots of law school reps from around the country, I was able to meet with a Kaplan rep who provided me with one scholarship for a free Kaplan LSAT prep course. It includes a 4-month course that you can take live online, or on-demand, up to a $1,300 value. Kaplan is known for their comprehensive, excellent (but very expensive) courses, so this is a great opportunity for one of you to take one of these courses for free. Check out the link below for more info on Kaplan’s LSAT courses.
One thing to note is that in order to use any Kaplan courses, including this one, you will need to subscribe to LawHub Advantage through LSAC, which currently costs $120 (and is extremely useful in its own right). Check out LawHub on LSAC’s webpage to see what that subscription includes. Keep in mind that if you qualify for a few waiver through LSAC, LawHub Advantage is included for free.
I want to make sure the scholarship goes to a student who will make the most of it and who otherwise wouldn’t be able to pay for a prep course (but who could really benefit from one). It must be redeemed between now and April 1, 2026 and used before next summer, so it needs to go to someone taking the LSAT next summer or fall. If all of this applies to you, please email me and let me know (1) how this scholarship/course would benefit you, (2) when you are registered for the LSAT (or plan to register), (3) describe your study plan & schedule, resources you have used already (free or paid), and (4) how this course would specifically fit in to your plan/schedule. Please email me by Wednesday, November 26. I will then choose someone randomly from all eligible students. Let me know if you have any questions!
In addition to this Kaplan scholarship, at my conference I also received some discounts for 7Sage and other LSAT prep companies, and I may have more scholarships available in the near future as well. Stay tuned!
Have a great week!
